Spencer Matthews’ Epic Desert Challenge: 30 Marathons in 30 Days Powered by INGENIOUS Active

Spencer Matthews is set to embark on the challenge of a lifetime: running 30 marathons in 30 days across the desert in the peak of summer. This incredible feat aims to set a world record and raise funds for Global’s Make Some Noise.

Starting at the end of July, Spencer will tackle 30 consecutive marathons across the deserts of Jordan. With temperatures soaring above 40 degrees Celsius, he will face the equivalent of five Marathon des Sables, often dubbed the toughest footrace on the planet. That’s a staggering 786 miles, comparable to running the entire length of the UK, but through scorching desert terrain.

This challenge is an official Guinness World Record attempt for “the most consecutive marathons run on sand.” To qualify, Spencer must adhere to strict rules:

  • The entire course must consist of sand—no grass or artificial layers.
  • He can choose to run barefoot or with shoes, alternating as needed.
  • Each marathon must be completed within 6 hours.

INGENIOUS Active Collagen: Supporting Spencer’s Training

Throughout his training, Spencer Matthews has been taking INGENIOUS Active to support his extraordinary challenge. INGENIOUS Active boosts muscle endurance by up to 20%, increases energy production by up to 42%, reduces muscle damage by up to 69%, and soothes post-exercise inflammation by 35%, all thanks to its star ingredient, Actigin, which is clinically proven to enhance performance.

By improving endurance, INGENIOUS Active helps Spencer maintain peak performance during his demanding daily marathons and provides the energy needed to handle extreme desert conditions. It also accelerates recovery by minimising muscle damage and alleviating inflammation, which is crucial for managing the physical strain of running in high temperatures.

INGENIOUS Active combines marine collagen peptides, hyaluronic acid, natural astaxanthin, and essential vitamins including C, E, Zinc, and Actigin. Our patented capsule ensures maximum absorption by protecting the ingredients from the stomach’s sharp pH drop and digestive enzymes. Unlike liquid or powder collagen that can degrade in the stomach, our protected patented capsule ensures the formula reaches the small intestine intact, allowing collagen peptides to be absorbed effectively and boosting your body’s natural collagen production. This consistent and repeatable absorption is superior to liquids or powders, essential for keeping Spencer in peak condition throughout his training and the challenge.
